The Wilson Family

I love photographing the Wilson family! Ellen and Eddie Wilson, along with their two kids Drew and Sadler, are some of my favorite customers. This year, I got the great opportunity to do their family portrait for the holidays at the home of Eddie's parents, Ed and Sharon Wilson, out in Southbridge. We were joined by Ellen's brother, Robert Harris, and his wife Carrie and son Bowen. They were all great fun to work with and we had such a fun time capturing all of the great laughs and antics of the kids playing together. I can't wait to photograph them again. They truly are very special people!

The Black Family

I have been photographing these two little girls since they were babies! Every year they come back for their holiday portraits. This year, their dad is home from Iraq so he was able to be a part of the shoot and see the girls in action. I love being a part of their holiday season and am honored to have them as life-long customers!

Ivey-Blackburn Wedding

Liz Ivey and Mitch Blackburn were married November 8, 2008 at Grove Point Plantation. John Davis did an outstanding job turning this already amazing venue into a wonderfully festive light and airy lowcounty dream. The plantation was used in the original Cape Fear movie and lies next to the marsh covered inlets of the Intracoastal Waterway. The ceremony was held at sunset underneath the big oaks which were dressed in flowers and lanterns. The groom, a navy man, and his ushers, looked pristine in their white uniforms, while the bride and her bridesmaids looked radiant with their fall inspired flowers and gowns. The tented reception was held under the oaks and everyone had an incredible time dancing to the sounds of Jimmy Doubleday and the Encore Band. After an exciting departure through a line of sparklers, the couple left in John Davis' beautiful Rolls Royce. What a way to end a perfect evening!

Vieth Wedding

I almost missed the bride and groom. I thought that I was to shoot a family portrait at Forsyth Park. When I arrived downtown I was looking around for a family that I had never met before and all I saw was a bride and groom standing near the fountain. As I was picking up my cell to call the contact number I had with me, I noticed that the bride was also dialing her phone at the same time that mine started ringing. They were the ones that I was there to shoot! What an awesome surprise! Dorothy and Michael had come to Savannah from Kentucky because they had hoped for a warm, sunny day to have their wedding photographs taken in the Historic District. Little did they know that their photo shoot would occur on the coldest November day Savannah had ever seen. After taking many shots at the Park, we headed over to the Dresser Palmer House to get warm and take some more pictures inside one of Savannah's lovely historic inns. What a pleasure it was meeting The Vieths. Come back to Savannah soon!

Rachael Ferrara and Jordan Yelverton were married October 4, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church with a reception following the ceremony at The Savannah Yacht Club. It was great seeing Rachael with all of her friends from Savannah Country Day together again to celebrate her big day. Bleu Belle did a great job on her dress as well as the bridesmaid's dresses, adding the finishing touches until right before I began shooting photos. The reception was great fun and the band was wonderful. Guests danced the night away until the bride and groom left the Yacht Club under a canopy of rose petals thrown by their many friends and family. Congratulations Rachael and Jordan! You both were wonderful to work with!
